Health problems experienced by Wendy’s children at an early age led her to look for answers outside of the traditional medical field.
Her thirst for knowledge in natural therapies was ignited when she found help for her children and herself through a Naturopath. She commenced studies in natural therapies in 1991, starting out with Reiki and Bowen Therapy, then on to Naturopathy studies.
She worked in a Naturopathy clinic from 1993 until 2000, co-inciding with the birth of her fourth child. While supporting her children, Wendy mapped out a career that had great meaning for her as well as allowing her time to study and to spend time with her children and now grandchildren.
Wendy is a Clinical Hypnotherapist, Psychotherapist and Kinesiologist focussing on helping people to achieve balance and harmony in both Body and Mind.
Colin had a promising sports career cut short through injuries. He then pursued a career in business.
However, recurring health problems such as chronic fatigue, psoriasis, and weight loss were severely hampering his day-to-day enjoyment of life. Visiting many medical and natural therapists gave little respite until being referred to a Kinesiologist and then Yoga and Chi Gung. These treatments along with powerful Nutritional supplements began an incredible transformation within his life.
Colin is a Clinical Hypnotherapist, Psychotherapist, LifeSuccess Coach, Emotional Freedom Techniques and Neuro Linguistic Programming practitioner, Yoga Chi Gung instructor and has pursued a career to help others be the best they can be in life.
Massage for me started as a hobby in 2002, something to do for family and friends starting on my kitchen table and it has not stopped. I had my own little business in New Zealand in our old wood shed, where I created a lovely peaceful space called Tranquillity.
Moving to Australia in 2006 for my husband’s work changed all that. To get work in massage over here I had to do some more training which I did and got my Diploma in Remedial Massage. For me massage is a great way to be able to help others whether it is physical or emotional. Energy work comes through naturally for most massage therapists and is very rewarding work.
There are many forms of massage and I believe there is a massage therapist for each of us. Massage is more than a luxury as some people may think, it is actually maintence that we all need to help keep our bodies and mind in balance.
Relaxation massage is where it all began for me and from there I have learnt many different forms from Lymphatic Drainage Massage, Warm Stones, Cupping and now doing Cellulite Busting Massages with some fabulous results.
Working in with Colin and Wendy has also helped me grow in other areas of my work and life.
